Format your posts - hints

Using this blog software, you will lose the formatting (bold, underline, italics etc) from a Microsoft Word document. However, it is simple to format your blog posts using the 7 buttons just above the "writing window" when you are creating a post.

The 7 buttons are:

1. Bold: just highlight the text you want to make bold and click on the "b button" (button 1)

2. Italics: just highlight the text you want in italics and click on the i button (button 2)

3. links: add a link to a website by highlighting the text that you want to become the link and then typing the URL in the pop-up box (button 3)

4. insert blockquote:

if you want to use a blockquote (the style shown here) then highlight the text you want to have as a blockquote and click the blockquote button (button 4)

5. spell check (button 5)

6. add image: click button 6 and then choose a file from your computer or a website address to add a picture (you can choose the size and the position)

7. add a video (probably will not use)
